I used my spray bottle (water) on Ariel because she was biting Bailey's leg. Poor Bailey just sits there and Ariel's got her leg up in the air. So I barely sprayed her, fine mist, and said no biting. She just jumped and sat down and keeps looking at me with the saddest face, like she's saying "Mom, what did you do that for?" It's the guilt trip. But, hey y'all were right it stopped her in her tracks! LOL
DON'T give in to the guilt trips!!! They are masterminds at it, I swear they practice when no one is around. Have you ever seen a pom pout?? It is truly pathetic, it is like you just beat them. Don't give in though!
Oh, I wont give up, it worked too well. She went and laid down in her bed and is taking a nap. I used a spray bottle on fine mist, of course she is really small so to use a squirt gun I would have to be a really good shot! Not sure if it makes a difference. Here's a funny that I just remembered. When I was in college my parents lived out in the country and my dad and brothers went dove hunting every year. I went up there to hunt and of course my whole family was there including my then bf. Well, apparently I had good aim and bad eyesight. I shot the decoys off the fence. LOL I have not lived this down yet, 20 years later! Well, I list I made my shot.
Naughty girl, Gina. You aren't supposed to hit real birds on a fence or branch either. It is called twigging. Hunting no-no. I had a Lab that would pout. He would go in the corner of the room, face the wall, and stare at the floor while sitting. No coaxing or cookie would move him...such a drama queen!
I love the "spritzer"! Mine is on a steady stream, and works great! Minnie gets it on two occasions, when she starts smacking her lips when I am eating (drives me up the wall) and when she attacks the cat! I am thinking about getting a water gun, though, that would be hysterical. But, for the added zing, you can always add vinegar. Minnie likes the apple kind, she'll actually lick it off her fur! (freak!) but the white stuff, ewww!
So we have a bunny litter box. I spray the dogs for helpping to clean the box. Today I was busy doing amillion things and my 3yo says " Mom the babys in the litter box" Not thinking a rush over and spray him!!!!! I'm not sure who was more shocked, Him Me or his sister. It started a spraying water fight!
