Today was the day Bubba finally became an "it" dog. I had him neutered today. He did real well considering the fact that Bubba is the biggest baby in the world and super sensitive. He also had severe conjuntivitis in his eye, so I had the doc check that at as well, got him some meds so mabey he will get better soon. In the mean time he is feeling very sorry for himself. He will probably be mad at me for weeks he tends to hold a grudge!Anyways, I don't guess any one really cares about Bubba's operation but I just felt like shooting the breeze, so there.
i am glad he is okay. i often wonder what an animal thinks when they first realize a body part is missing. it never appears they seem phased by it but the thought must run thru their mind, especially if they lose their tail or something really noticeable.
I don't think that they are really that aware of their bodies or body parts, unless they have pain. Sometimes they will notice their tail and get this look on their face like, "whose behind me!, get it". And you see dogs with three legs adjusting pretty well. So at the very least, I doubt any of them know their crown jewels are missing! lol
