One of the other dog breeds that I am seriousely considering is a Alaskan Malamute. . . I found this ad on here. They are basically breeding good males with mixes. Not only that but if you look at the 'puppies' link, check out how many litters and how many days apart they were all born. You can see all of the female mixes on their 'female' link. I would DEFINITELY NOT buy from these people!
Forgot the link. . . http://www.alaskanmalamutepups.com Also, look at the males and on one of them it even says "You can see that Galaxy has no hip dysplasia. He is standing on two doghouses that are about 3 feet tall." You can tell??? From a picture??
I wish I hadn't looked. Too many mothers. Look at all those puppies. And if they don't find homes? I never understand why breeders have so many litters at one time. That appears to be awfully irresponsible. Is there that big of a demand for Alaskan Malamutes?
Yeah, we want so many breeds! lol We finally decided that we are going to just look around until we find the one we cannot live without. You would laugh if you had heard all of the 'I like this breed' and I really like this breed' talk my fiancee' and I have. We are being very picky about what dog we do decide to get because it has to get along with our poms. But man it is so hard, there are so many adorable and sweet breeds. I can't decide! That is why we haven't gotten one though, we want to be absolutely positive that it is right.
Katz: Please stay away from these people you do not know what you are getting. I use to live 2 blocks from them and the reason they have that fence in the yard is because the ac was always there and it is the law in Grand Rapids city limit that you can have no more than 3 dogs per property. The dogs are always loose and who knows what dog really has fathered the pups. I had there dog tied in my back yard for 2 days before they claimed him.
those puppies are so darn adorable. it just breaks my heart. that i would say is more a puppy mill then just a byb. our resident byb lab breeder was just in to have his female x-rayed for hips. hips look good so now he'll be breeding her. doesn't matter that her legs are chewed apart due to the allergie problems that run rampnat in his lines. makes me ILL.
omgosh, those puppies are SO adorable! it definenetly looks like a puppy mill to me. there are so many mothers, and so many puppies. how in the world they properly care for those puppies is beyond me. all the pups look happy and healthy though. still, they look like a mill, so i'd stay away!
