Hi have you tried leaving the leash on so the pup can get used to the leash when you are at home and when you go walking have some treats with you and see if she will walk by your side, if that doesn't work how about a body harness.

Hi Jackie cole i try to trim around the eyes as much as possible but it's still a bit wet around the eye area it's not yellow or green just wet smells like mouldy cheese,never get the problem in winter.

Thanks for all the tips, i tell my vet about the smell and she says thats nomal for a shihtzu cause of their squished faces and to wipe them with a solution of water and salt but that lasts for a short while then they weep and smell again.I'll try so...

Hi everone i'm new here, has anyone any suggestions on removing the odour around the eyes. My shih tzu eyes weep and smell so badly it only happens in the summer month...
