Lovelypuppy, what does your sister's Dr. say about you having a dog in the household? How old are you, and can you devote the time it takes to looking after a dog? You can't keep a large breed like the one you want, in an apartment unfortunately, but...

Savannah, when are your first litter of puppies due? Still no luck with my p.m. issue. Maybe I should change my user name! The funny thing is all the ones I wanted were all taken, and I settled for this stupid one. At least it's been good for a few l...

I'm so sorry that you were ripped off, but also do not think buying the dog from the internet was the main problem. I am a breeder, and I also have a website, in which I display my 'available' babies. The main lesson to be learned here is that you ne...

Are you going to visit someone by any chance? You did'nt say where you had to go for 2 weeks. Is there a possibility you could just take them with you? Any relatives close by? You could also try putting up a few posters, which would be free, and mayb...

Dogster, I don't like to stereotype any breed as a 'guard'
dog, persay, because although people have the perception that the Rottweiler,German Shepherd, Pitbull,...

Savannah, o.k. I officially give up-this time. I do know when I'm banging my head against a brick wall, and probably should have quit a few responses ago. My experience as a paramedic taught me years ago never to try to argue/reason with people under...

Tatersmom, if my memory serves me correctly, I merely asked you if you had 7 dogs, and if you bred them. There's nothing wrong with that, and I don't recall saying there is. I'm glad you're lucky enough to have 10 acres to live on, and to work from h...

Tatersmom, I understand that this is probably a daunting task for you. I do understand that you're young, and it's not easy to speak up especially when you're a bit shy.
Do you realize why I am so ballistic about puppy mills? I'm getting the fee...
