My GSD has these small red sores in the webbing of his feet. They do not affect is walking, but are very sensitive to touch. Does anyone know what they are? How to treat? He also run's alot on concrete and it is causing his pads to crack. Any tips? T...

Thanks for the tips Oxford! I realized that I was cuting the nails to slowly. Just line it up and cut it off as quick as possible.

I agree with Abbylynne and Oxford. Kill them with Capstar and prevent them with Comfortis. Never seen a flea on my 80lb GSD.

Well, Vets also recommend Science Diet. Have you read the ingreats. on that? They usually start withe something like this: Corn, Chicken By-product Meal, Corn Gluten. And rice is not good for any dog. Rice is a simple Carb.i.e. rice not a complex Car...

It sounds like a decent food except that it has rice. Rice causes a spike in blood sugar which can lead to diabetes or insulin resistance.
