this might sound weird....but i've had a habit of eating ice for years now, my pup eats it as well....as for problems? I think that your dog has more of a chance of getting hit by a car than getting problems from eating ice. But thats just my opini...

Just be smart about it....dont leave it in the back of a truck in a parking lot while you go shopping or anything. Keep it out of the direct sun for long periods of time. Lotsa water too!

So if i make meal time more frequent, or put a kong in her bowl and she still swallows her food whole......is that okay for her or is it dangerous?

strange......i agree....but my vet just recently said, the sooner the better....anytime after 8 weeks old they can do it, although i am waiting longer
