Yup both my dogs do that and it drives my mom nuts when we come over. They take a drink, turn and little streams come out of the sides of their mouths.

If you look at the ingredients of Nutro you will see "chicken meal" not chicken meat. Look for ingredients with a meat listed first and one with no corn.

Fill with peanut butter and kibble, and put in the freezer, it wont get all over the carpet and your dog will love it

When we got my boxer/beagle Mollie spayed she acted the same way. I called the bet concerned and he said if she is that hyper shes fine. If there was any pain in jumping up, she wouldn't do it.

Puppy chow wasn't the best choice for my puppies, you should read the ingredients on the food. Corn is a filler in a lot of dog foods and the closer to the front of the list the more it contains. Dogs cant really digest corn properly and trust me ...
