Crating him might help, also never feed any giant breed puppy food. I have only fed adult food to my DDB's. This was something that I was told by a number of vets. It cuts down on large breed pups growing too fast.

I don't think it's the breed you have to be concerned about it's the socialization or lack of it that concerns me. Obedience training in any breed is very important.

It seems that the first to greet you was the male who laid down next to you after the initial greeting. I wouldn't take that as disinterest from the pup. I would take it as a level of comfort from the pup.

Good way to start another "designer breed" feud.

No one really wants to guess how many more mutts are going to come of this breeding whether intentional or not.

I have to put my two cents in here. When I was younger I was bitten by a German Shepard and a Poodle. I don't hate the breeds and I don't think they should be banned, in fact I blame myself for both instances.

I have had pet rats, my favorite was a female rat I named Tayla. She was smart, sweet and affectionate. I miss her alot, whenever I opened her cage to play with her she would climb up my arm, sit on my shoulder and chatter in my ear.
