As for the drinking thing, touchy subject. I agree that there need to be stronger laws with DUI; however that won't stop someone from drinking. I was raised by a family of alcoholics, and I don't drink because I have seen the devastation it causes....

I remember seeing a post back when there was all the dog food recalled. Someone posted a link to a site that rated dog food based on ingredients, and it included key chemicals to avoid. Now, don't laugh too hard, my dog ate my copy I printed out! ...

I have been bitten and then attacked by my own dog. I recommend you get to your vet immediatly for an exam. If the vet can find no reason for these issues, get the help of a professional dog trainer with experience in this area. This sounds seriou...

This is one of the hardest parts of owning a dog. Many times they are suffering but will never let you know. I asked my vet this same question, his best answer was, you will just know when the time is right. No one in your family, unless they love...

Congrats, and thank you for rescuing a Chow/Mix! I have had 3 Chows, and the behavior you are describing is very Chow like. Chow's that are trained, do not care to jump on people, and have almost a 'cat' like attitude, by that I mean they can take ...
