It depends on the severity of the hernia....Larger hernias will need to be surgically fixed... some will close up on their own with help from a belly band. Your pup is young... I would try a band and keep an eye on it. It also couldn't hurt to speak ...

I would say it is a nutritional deficiency or pano (although if other pups are fine, then I would tend to rule out pano)

A BIG YES to vitamin C... in fact, I highly recommend you give ESTER-C..... much better on the stomach and breaks dow...

I would look into another vet for you vaccinations, as the prices you listed are way out of line!!! I can order a batch of 25 all in one shots (minus rabies) for under $100.00, and individually they are under $10.00..... your vet is making a killing ...
