Sounds good, Blackqueen. All shelters should operate in that same manner; unfortunately from the sounds of things, this is not the case.

3 dogs is plain sailing; I own 13 dogs and if I can cope with them so would anyone with ONLY 3. I wouldn't even notice 3 dogs, lol. especially smallish ones like min pins.

What a beautiful mix, puggles are just gorgeous. I can't say that I agree with the term "pocket" in this case; you would need a suitcase to carry him but you will be sure that he is going to be a much sturdier dog than most pocket sized ...

They are absolutely gorgeous and will grow up to be just beautiful. You are right in wanting to rid him of his crown jewels, I wish all shelters would do that before adopting out dogs.
