Wow, ok.
Yesterday i went and visited a lady with ragdolls, they were beautiful cats, very friendly and playfull, but placid like you say.
Hers come outside with her and love laying about in the sun.

My shepherd had his in for 9 days. It was a bad wound tho.
You both have my sympathy and best wishes, theyre awfull.

yep it sure is an attention grabber.
My cavs do it as well, plus some other wierd and wonderful noises, and theyre healthy dogs!
But the noises they make is nothing compared to a bulldog i know..!
My shepherd never does it tho.

several times a day? sorry.
make sure you point that out to your vet, as he may not be to worried as they do snort and snuffle smetimes so make sure he checks her properly.
Let us know how you go.

Id get her checked over by your vet to be on the safe side.
I dont know to much about pills for fleas, but i highly doubt that it would be an allergy thing, but yur vet will be able to tell you all about it anyway, while your there maybe lok at ...

Ive always had long haired cats, so thats not an issue at all.
I couldnt have a cat confined to indoors, and with where i live there isnt a need to, altho ive always kept them in at night, the day if the weather is good can come in ...

I've lived all over Australia, and yeah they are regarded as a pest. No one likes to loose their stock obviously.

Hmm, bit of a mystery. she came back all clear from the vet, his explanation was shes still young and her cycles arnt regulay yet!
its just ive never come across it before.

ive read up on pyometra on a vet site, she doesnt appear to have any of the symptoms of it.
they say swollen belly, anorexia, lethargic fever etc and drinking alot.
she has none of these. nor is she urinating frequently or showing anything ...
