Hi, I responded to your PM as well...but will summarize here in case anyone else needs to see this in the future.

Teddy Bear recovered almost 100%. It literally took 6 months. In retrospect and having watched him improve, I'm almost cert...

Did your parents mean that if you do the work to locate a breeder and find the right dog, then they will sign the contracts AND take care of raising the dog when you are not around? Are they 100% behind you as a full partner in this?

Or, ...

Yes, we've certainly been trying to put money second and our dog's health first. Here's the problem with the DNA test for DM, right now:

He's four years old. So if the test comes back clear then I breathe easy, right? But if the test co...

Well...I called, and I also had to take Teddy in for a Lyme test today at my local clinic (who also does MRIs) and asked them.

The place I'm going to on Monday to see the neurologist said that when they do an MRI they take the dog from you...

Neurologist appointment on Monday; very well may need an MRI same-day...anyone have any experience getting an MRI for their dog? My little guy is an admitted mush and clings to mom & dad, so I'm worried about stressing him out.

Do they us...

Thanks for the kind words/thoughts (and drool!)

I will certainly let everyone know the results. Last couple of days Teddy has been doing a lot better...my wife even said maybe we should cancel the appointment with the neurologist. I said...
