That's horrible Doxie. I agree that most abusers start with animals and then progress to human victims. If my man were this controlling I would leave him in a heartbeat. If anyone ever threatened to hurt my furbabies they would live to regret it...

It sounds like your hubby has some serious issues. A dog cannot help it if it gets sick. The aggression thing has to be stopped, however, for the sake of your dogs.

Do you know if the puppies are purebred? If so, I would definitely sell them rather than give them away (in addition to the vet and spay/neuter costs). I also think it's a good idea to spay/neuter the pups. Just keep an eye out for the evil peop...
