Ditto to the other post, moving is no reason to rehome. Is there some other reason you have to rehome a dog that you are not telling us? If the move is the only reason that is a pretty sad excuse for leaving a dog behind.

My dogs are the animal version of Peter Pan, they never go up! My last dog I had was 13-1/2 yrs. old and I still referred to him as my puppy. :) Sorry, I don't know the correct answer to your question.

There is no puppy that I know of that doesn't require a lot of attention, training and one on one time. I too think that you would be better off with an older dog, doesn't sound like you are willing to put in the time that it takes to raise a puppy ...

lifeofriley maybe your vet would set up a payment plan, I understand about the bills, been there done that before, but it is a life and if the vet would set up a payment perhaps that would help you out a little.
