Merico, Yes, he is the same as the dog in Turner and Hooch. That Dogue's name was Beasley (main one, there were at least 4 in the movie). He was a Dogue De Bordeaux. He died in '92 at 14yrs old. He was 11yrs old in the movie. God Bles...
