we use the lawn savers from petsmart, it seems to work. it goes by weight though, maybe you were not giving enough tabs? we've never had dead grass with them. you may have to try a different brand, that may help.

have you tried a covered box? my cat used to kick out litter, and i got a cover for the box and it contains what she tries to kick out.

a question for the groomers on this board. what is the best kind of brush/comb to use when brushing out the undercoat? my eskie blows her coat 1-2 times a year and i am trying to find the best thing to get it all out with. thanks!
