I have two cats, Zelda and Mario, named after video games. The cat I put to sleep was named Luigi, same reason. I had a dog named Leyla, and even though I didn't name her, I liked to sing her the song by Cream.

It depends on the reason, in my opinion. If they are really destructive or vicious with other animals or people, they should probably be declawed. I think that regular nail trimmings are the best alternative. It keeps them from being able to claw and...

A good vet will ask questions, treat your pets like they're their own, go about every method to diagnose and treat and admit when they don't have an answer.
