It's possible that there is something about their body language that upsets the dog. I agree that you should see a behaviorist to help work through problems.

I've always thought there should be something like that, but I was thinking more for show. Like, purebreds without papers or mixes. There would be no standards, but the prettiest and best personality could win.

I love my Bichon. This is a good breed for apartments. They not only don't need outdoor space, they don't like it. They are lap dogs. They love human companionship. They aren't good when left alone for long periods at a time.

What time of the day is best to train a puppy? My dog is almost six months and has a really short attention span. I haven't done much training with him yet because I can't decide when to do it. What time of the day would be the best?
