Have you done any obidience training with Daisy? It really sounds as if she knows how to push your buttons and knows that she is going to get away with using the house as her own personal yard. My puppy just turned 8 months old, and I honestly cannot...

hi samir -- welcome! what do you feed your dog? That can really affect your dogs skin and coat.

A handler at a show I went to uses Salmon Oil (which you can get at any pet store or online). I'm sure there are other things you can add.

pineapple with his food? really? hmmm...I've got plenty of that in my pantry!

Thank you irishacres! Just wanted to report that Chase *loves* the greenbeans! It does seem to fill him up, and he is no longer hovering around his food dish.

I'm also interested in these answers. We have looked at some leather sofas and have been assured that my dog will not scratch the leather....but I have seen what he has done to the regular couch! But I still cant help but want a leather sofa.

irishacres--thanks for the input, I'm glad to hear its probably a growth spurt, Chase sounds just like your setter. I might be able to show him yet!!

and I can handle feeding green beans. Is canned okay? Also, should I cook them? Just bein...

He's 8 months old right now and he really is small for his breed. I'm actually hoping he grows, but my vet said he was done!

When Scout went through this phase, did you just feed more?

Chase, my German Shorthaired Pointer, suddenly seems hungry ALL THE TIME! He has always taken his time eating, and never begged and now he is gulping ...
