I would assume this is an infected anal gland, very nasty and painful. It comes from straining to poop. Most groomers express anal glands for free during a groom.

"If I can't afford that, I shouldn't have dogs."

Exactly right, Abbylynne.. exactly right. If it came down to my last 30 dollars and my dog needed flea meds, food or shots.. I would starve. Hands down.

shelties=love, it seems that your dog has you exactly where she wants you. It's nature to eat, no animal will starve itself. Believe me, if you leave the food down for more than 3 days.. and don't give her access to any other food/treat she will gi...

The poster very obviously said "when we found him", and no where does it say that's the only time he's gotten out. If you think about it for a minute you'd come up with this conclusion, like I did...

Apparently it's not the first time her...

There is no such thing as "good stuff" in alpo. Anything you can buy at walmart is trash. Go to petsmart/petco etc and get some high quality good. Cannidea, Wellness, Nutro Natural, Blue Buffalo.. all are good foods. Also, wet food is bad for the...
