There are some registries that will register any manner of dog, including mixed breeds. It is kindof a ploy to sell mutts off as "fancy".

I'd say Boxer-Shepherd mix myself, due to the very round, large eye. If he were a pit-shepherd mix, he should have a much smaller eye. He looks like he has rounder eyes than most shepherds; therefore I would think that the eye came from the other...
