When I saw her I thought of the name "Willow"

That would probably be your dog expressing her anal glands (also called anal sacs, two small glands located on either side of your dog's rectum). It can sometimes happen when they get very agitated.

I bought them once. After the dogs started chewing they smelled awful so they were thrown away and never purchased again.

I didn't know the there was a format change... What changed? Guess I wasn't paying attention!

How long has the dog been having these symptoms? Is the dog up-to-date on his vaccinations (especially parvo and corona)?

If the vet did not order bloodwork (red and white blood cell count, test liver & pancreas function), ask them to ASAP...
