I think all dogs with floppy ears are prone to yeast/ear infections...at least that's what my vet says. If the dog is continually getting them then I'm sure your vet is right and it's allergies. --Be glad your vet mentioned it, LOL, mine let...

My gang also love ice cream but remember chocolate is bad and SO IS COFFEE! Coffee ice cream can be dangerous. -- A call to the emergency vet one night confimed it so best to avoid coffee and chocolate ice cream.

I'd take dry puppy food add warm water, set it out until it's mush and feed them that. Also Mom and the pups should be ona better food than pedigree. Are you sure she doesnt want to nurse and that she isnt just cutting back naturally? W...

One of our goldens had that problem, it cleared up once we realized the ear infections were allergies (thanks to the web) and switche dhis food.

Some ideas to help find his owners..... Call the loacl pounds/shelters ask if one has been reported missing, same with vets and even the police station! Check if he has a chip Tell all these places that you have found him and plan to ...

Here's a thought...maybe the dog is like my Baxter and has allergies that literally pulls/chews the hair off and has HUGE bald spots, so rather than deal with the bald spots...she shaved it so it would all grow in evenly. No, I havent shaved...
