This story made my blood boil. If things weren't so tight this week I'd be sending a donation to the shelter to up the award amount for information about who did this to this beautiful boy.

If he picks at it or causes it to start bleeding again, make sure you consider taking him to a vet.

Bleeding can be very bad for birds, so you want to eliminate as much of that possibility as you can.
