I agree that Nutro Max is mid-range food. PetCo told me that it is comparable to Pedigree line of food. My chocolate lab's previous owner had her on Pedigree. When we got her at 11 weeks, she had digestive problems from the Pedigree food as well...

Nutro Natural Choice is excellent food. My chocolate lab is on it and doesn't have any problems with it.

Thanks for giving me the website about chocolate being bad for dogs. I already heard that it wasn't good to give to dogs. Most books and magazines don't give details. I will check out the website soon.

I think your dog is just trying to cool off. My lab puppy likes to sleep sometimes on the bathroom or kitchen floor. She is right now sleeping on my bathroom floor.

My female lab sometimes gets hiccups. Why does she get hiccups at least once or twice daily? She looks and acts healthy.
