I too agree never throw away a bag of food when it doesn't work for your dog. Some stores will take it back and refund your money so that you can purchase something else.

The recommended time to breed a dog is no sooner than 2 years. I heard that the earliest heat cycle happens at 6 months. Some though don't go into heat until 1 year. My lab is 9 months old and still hasn't gone into heat.
