IMHO if your dog does well on it, then feed it. No matter what people say about holistic foods, I have never seen any concrete evidence (measured studies done by a neutral party) that shows dogs fed on holistic or BARF diets are living any longer or...

if your dog is having shakes and severe thirst, then you need to take her to the vet and have her tested. Blood sugar problems are just as serious in dogs as it is in humans, diabetes can kill.

to what degree will the dog be an indoor/outdoor dog? I say that our dog is an indoor dog, but on sunny days, he is happy to be outside all day long. He's just as happy to come inside and be with us though! A lab mix, or a spaniel mix would probably...

the 8 to 13 week old stage in dogs is when they learn things that are permanently ingrained. So yes, it is important to expose them to people, that's also why it's the best time for a puppy to be taken into a new home. This is also the time period i...

That's called an 'exercise' pen, and it can be very handy. I'm personally against putting dogs on the couch or beds, because it can upset the social pack order, IE, the dog thinks that because it can get up on the couch, it is higher ranked than per...

I would say NO to a chihuahua repeatedly. Yuck. I'm sure I'm not the only one. However, just from her post, this isn't a breed she'd be interested in getting anyway.
