I would agree with the older, experienced quarter horse. Often you can learn a lot from a good boarding stable. When looking for a horse make sure you are able to ride the horse yourself, not all horses are for every rider.

I've known people that have raised calves and pigs as pets and then butchered them to eat. I think that is about as bad. In some states they actually have people on call that are notified if a deer is hit on the road. They are picked up, processed ...
