He is so beautiful.
Is it just me, or does he look a lot like Riley in the face? I love his near all white body, that is the first Springer I have seen with such a white body! Absolutely beautiful.

Was he not put in the cage as a pup?
This sounds like something puppies do, or dogs never used to being in a cage.
My advice to you would be the same advice I got as a Puppy owner...
IGNORE him....taking him out teaches him that crying...

Mia does this from time to time and yes, yes, YES, it was very frightening, especially the first time. It still is if it lasts longer than usual, even if just a few more seconds.

I am so very sorry to hear this. Cancer is a nasty, nasty thing. We are going through chemo with my grandpap right now so I know what you as a very concerned BF is going through.

I will pray for Lauren.

Isn't she pretty young?...
