That's an idea I thought about actually, but I'm a member of a service for people with fatal illnesses (they supply the funds for food, health care, etc) and they won't allow that foster program. I actually have to "adopt" the dog.

Well you're right, that type of tog would be very wrong for me. But an update: I left my cat alone all afternoon until 9pm. When I came home, I thought I would see the house in some type of wreck, but not really.

Those of you that gave me advice about the shelter thing, I got my cat from one of the LA County Shelters. There are 6 county shelters and too many city shelters (too many to count). Of course being LA is a huge place. That's where I was planning on ...

I've only had him a few days, but thanks, you gave me some assurance that I'm not doing anything wrong. When he lies down somewhere, he won't sleep until his paws my skin or my clothes and he'll sleep that way with his paw still attached to me. It wa...

Maybe I should rephrase what I said -- I guess it wasn't clear. I don't mind that he wants to nap on my desk but I don't want him to nap on my desk when I'm sitting at it. This desk is the only place in my apartment that I can study on. He only sleep...
