All northern breed dogs are high strung. That's the first I'd like to say. Second, any dog that is high strung will chase something if it's running away from them, other dogs, people, cats. I have a Malamute. I also have three cats. He only bothers...

Yah, I've heard about the rawhide thing before, so I don't buy them for Nanook. Didn't want to take a chance, ya know? But he loves the pig ears, and it keeps him off my socks. LOL
