We have 4 cats and all of them have a favorite "people" food. Boss loves peanut butter, Ming loves powdered donuts, Spike loves cheese and Sadie, well Sadie will really eat anything! The dogs also love the pb on thier biscuits.
I know our vet uses it on dogs that come in with an infestation, then follows it with Frontline or Advantix for maintenance. I don't think you would use it as a regular flea control, though, just in extreme cases.
