I just spoke to my vet regarding this and the blood work panel was only $35 Cdn so for us it's no even a consideration not to do it.

Of course she also wants a urine sample and for this I'm just not sure I'll be dexterous enough!

Unfortunetly I have some experience with this as my husband works for government assisted housing. Speak with your landlord and ask that your apartment be sprayed by a PROFESSIONAL exterminater. You and your guy(s) will have to be out of the unit...

I'm sooo sorry for Ceasar's ordeal. I can't imagine how you feel. What do you think provoked the other dog? Is Ceasar still intact? Thank God he's a big guy and not a small breed which could have been killed by this "friendly breed" dog.

Just guessing but perhaps his behavior has more to do with dominating you rather than being protective of you. You may consider looking up some alpha dog tips to make it more than clear where he belongs in 'the pack' (at the bottom of your family)...

Yup, definately ebay.com and they are often much cheaper than store retail. The prices do vary but I think I got mine for about $12US + shipping and 5 letters.
