My dog did the same thing. I changed him to an all meat food and added apples and green beans to his diet so he would not eat my plants. I also gave him childrens chewable allergy pills until it passed.

I give my dog these toys called "Tire Biters". I has taken him several months to destoy them verse other toys that take a day. I can not leave him alone without crating him or he will eat all of my wicker baskets.
