Hi There, I have an Old English Mastiff. She sheds some, but not that much actually. As far as dander goes, only when she gets nervous!

I would definitely go with the Mastiff. Their size is very intimidating and they are very protective of their home. They are also wonderful around children!

Wow, this is a very helpful topic. I had never heard that you should feed your dogs raw foods. So, this is basically everything you feed them? i.e. meats and vegetables?
