Yeah. He actually loves other dogs except when there is food/toys to fight over. When he sees other dogs, he loves sniffing them and then seems to run around in a circle to get them to chase him.

I just noticed my dog licking this the last few days. He had a similar looking one on his other paw months ago that seemed to go away. Anyone know what it could be? Is it worth a vet visit or should i just wait to see if it gets worse/better?

yup...my little pom was eating his own fresh stuff. He also loves cat poop but that is another story. If you wish to leave him out by himself in the yard...it will happen

Even ours now will walk away from it after he does it and i pick it...
