There are many ways to adopt dogs for free and I have even witnessed people giving away pure breds on the street. I agree that $500- really is not a lot for a dog although if it is unaffordable I bet online somewhere you'd be able to find something....

I actually bought my dog a Roberto Coin designer bracelet which is white gold and has a diamond heart dangling from it. She is so tiny that it fits around her neck as a necklace but, I found this one site that actually specializes in making dog neck...

Crate training for any dog is very important. The only dogs that are not cut-out for crate training would be the asian dogs like the Shih-Tsu because they are too sensitive and it changes their dispositions.

Usually if a dog has allergies this could be determined by a swelling around the eye. And, for precautionary terms the vet could administer medicine to see if it helps.
