I tried the plastic cargo one ($90) for my 8 month old Alaskan Malamute. It worked out for 2 nights... the third night he used his teeth and bent the wired do...

My puppy would do that.. IN/OUT..Unfortunately, no one would listen to me and I FINALLY bought and installed a doggie door...now since he knows he can come in and out.. he doesn't jump on the door plus he doesn't really go in and out as often as prio...

Dogs are like children... and puppies are like babies! Either way you have to safe guard the house... and that means...what they can possibly chew. Parents of all, children/dogs..get mad at things they do.. but really think of it as a learning exp...

I beleave your trainer is UNEXPERIENCED or UNEDUCATED! I agree..go get another trainer... Use tender touches.. let the pup..realize your hands are for feeding and rubbing..not for chewing or playing. Hand feed the pup as often as possible... so the...
