I tried a tapestry afghan... and the little turd uses his teeth and pulls it into the crate ...he doesn't want to be covered.. I will try something heavier..ha ha ha ha

I felt the same way re: crating. I thought of it as a "jail cell". But then I realized it's not that. It's a small way of keeping him out of mischeif and safe. He loves the crate during the day...to go in and out .. placing his toys inside and out...

P.S. Forgot to say, I've never let him sleep in bed... HE JUST THINKS I WILL GIVE IN... I haven't yet...but it's been real hard... putting him in the crate at 10:45.. he doesn't stop whining and throughing a fit until 12pm.. then starts back in aroun...

Doggie classes, re introducing them there..not in your home..sounds great too! TIME will be a big help. Getting use to the fact..that now there is two.. The other pup, will eat... she is just upset... give her more attention. I hope it works out.....

Malamutes need allot of water... it's what cools them down.. and they get real hot with their long thick furry coat..
