I agree with Scout; it's bordering on the ridiculous that when people get caught after having committed a horrible deed on an animal they are dealt with only lightly.

I can only hope that somehow the monster responsible for this gets caught and is dealt with; quite frankly I would hope he ends up in the same manner as that poor dog that he shot.

I agree with you sugegone about the Rimadyl, it's a no go and yet vets are forever prescribing it; my vet recommended it for my rough collie but I refused to go with it...

A Cavalier king charles sounds ideal; they're reasonably active but not over the top, they love a warm lap, they have an easy care coat and are gorgeous to look at.
