The breeder should replace this dog with anothre of show/breedering quality, if you do decide to keep this one she may require that you pay pet price for your current pup. Read your contract and see what it says in there, if she has not fulfilled ...

i agree brookers are bad news, with a breed that has as many health problems as bulldogs you should find a breeder that does health and tempement testing on their breeding stock. A good breeder will also offer a health guarentee of 1-5 years again...

We have been trying, but her dog is a wolf cross, as is the supposed sire, I just don't feel safe placing them with anyone I know.

yes some purebred dog lines carry epilepsy, but that is why you need to buy from a very responsible breeder, and plenty of muts have it as well.
