Their legal here in WV, my husband looked that up. I thought the same thing too.

I really want one but man they sound like more work then I thought.

Then I'm thinking I'm going on vacation this year for a week and I can boar...

Keep your hopes high, I know it is tough but I'm sure your hubby is looking to you to be the strong one.
I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Welcome, no pics still waiting on that digital camera :)
But I have a beagle named Reed and a lab/boarder

Good god, they seem like a lot of work, more then what I thought. I may really really need to think about this now. I had no idea they needed their nails clipped. I hate clipping my dogs nails in fear I'll hurt them let alone a spiney ball :)

Wow I didn't know there was a Hedgehod Association. That's great to know, i would hate to buy a badly breed hedgehog. I guess I should check with my vet to make sure they have someone that could doctor it up if it gets sick.

Thanks

Are they difficult to take care of, are the cuddley like cats? How long do they usually live? What do they eat? How can you tell your getting a good hedgehog?
I guess anything you feel is important for me to know so I can make a good decision ...

My husband wants a hedgehog and was wondering if anyone on here has pros or cons about them.

TIA, Syrn

the deer is so cute, although you should have left him and you know that at least you did the right thing by contacting someone with experience to take care of them.

I would like to know how the deer is.

I have a friend who raised one when the mother was found dead and she has pics of it, very cute little thing. She house trained it and everything, the deer would go to the door when it had to go pot...
