new pup Mutt is Jersey (Jersey Boy or Little poop)

fire ants oh yea, We live in Fl and we have many. The dogs don't seem to bother them (maybe they are smarter then us). DH gets into them doing the lawn work. There are things sold in stores to kill the mounds that seem to work well. Welcome to ...

IMHO, you can give a dog to a 20/30 year old couple and there is no guarentee they will care for the dog correctly. There is also no guarentee that they (one the other or both) will live a long happy life. Anyone could pass away at any age.

Gina, that is so true, I don't know if something is going to happen when my dogs are out, and the dog would have gotten the bad guy if he went over that particular fence. But maybe the the cop went over the wrong fence, thus running into the dogg...

I am so sorry for these people who intrusted thier pets to this place. I don't live too far from there. I have my pups euthinized by the vet (if necessary) and then they are placed in my yard. This way I know where they are.
