Ah, that's one to try. I'm not sure how to get him used to the vaccume though... he doesn't have a problem when it's off, only when it's on, but obviously I can't just run it 24/7 for him to get used to the sound. Maybe I'll try the gradually intro...

Well he's not scared of being caged, he likes his crate. He's just scared of the cardboard boxes. I don't know that he's scared of the color black... I mean he's got basically black fur, so that might not work out too well for him if he is. :)

I'm curious about this actually, when is it okay to take a puppy to these classes? I'm waiting till Baron has all his shots, isn't that what you're supposed to do?

I'm in the process of house training myself, the biggest tip I can give is to limit his access to the house. Try to keep him in your vision at all times so you can catch him in the act.

Have you tried Bitter Apple? It's a spray you put on things to discourage your dog from chewing on them. I just got a bottle and my puppy definately is not fond of the taste.

Yeah, you would think the judge would ban her from owning dogs if she's a repeat offender, but the justice system doesn't always work the way we would like.
