I have an english bull terrier too and am socializing her with people, cats and other dogs....she is doing great! Her big brother is a full grown doberman.

I should not be bred because I hated breast feeding, and I only have two nipples. I cant imagine 8 nipples and possibly more kids than I can feed...

When I worked for the vet, there was a family whos dogs and people were plagued with cancer.

They lived by high tension wires....very sad...

Well, I only knew OF the scruff thing, so perhaps that wasnt the way to go!! she sure let me know she didnt like it.

I realize she will be a strong willed dog. I had a rottie, so I lived thru that as well....lol....I just didnt get her t...

Ok, my bull terrier is doing great.

In a week, she has learned to eat real dog food, drink from a bowl, and altho we have had some setbacks with houseb...

Well, her first 24 hrs she was at the vets. We had carafate for tummy, antibiotics, and wormers.

She was on a/d canned food, and I made a slurry with it, watered down with pedialtye. ALOT of pedialyte...cause she wont drink water.

Well, IMHO Continental sucks.

My breeder put a 4-5 wk old pup in the crate and never filled out the ...

"fed at such and such time" sticker.....all that was on there was HIS address and phone number.

Nor did C...

Well, the USDA is supposed to be calling me back.

I didnt realize until yesterday a sticker on the BACK of the crate..

The only thing filled out on it was the breeders address.

The sticker, however was important.

Good point minnie! I forgot about that...

I dont know where she lives tho, but usually, we dont start them on heartworm until they are 6 mos old...
