we did a trail by elevating his food bowl and water dish approx 12" on a support plank. he has to 'step up' to eat/drink; this forces him to have an almost upright body when eating/drinking. makes him eat slower too. first 24 hours, no throw-up. here...
i've tried adding water to his dry food & the moist food packets. never seen him 'gulp' his food but its possible. vet said nothing about congenital megaesoph, again it is possible with the breed.
