I agree with illusion - having worked as a groomer, some dogs instantly react when they realize they are being left away from Mom or Dad and throw a tantrum. That doesn't necessarily mean the groomer is doing something wrong. Asking to watch is alway...

Honestly, you've got some pretty different breeds of dogs on that list! The fact that you have Shelties and Shibas on the same list as terriers makes ME nervous. They are VERY different breeds. You have to have completely different training and lifes...

I'd guess really stubborn, strong willed, high energy dogs who have coats who matt and tangle easily.

How about you write down EVERY possible trait you can think of, physical, temperament, and health wise - both good and bad - and put the...

Actual active cases of Corona Virus are rarely seen in dogs over 8 weeks of age. So the vaccine is pretty useless.

I think the best and easiest way to insure a breeder is legit is to expect them to be active with their dogs outside of breeding. It's a lot harder to be a puppymill or be shady if you show, or compete in Agility, Obedience, Herding, Tracking etc... ...

Iams and Purina are crap too... slightly better crap than Pedigree - but still crap (actually - Dog Chow and Pedigree are probably the same food...).

I'm having this same arguement with my brother and his wife right now... You don't save ...

I know Cinnamon works in people to help regulate blood sugar as my Mom is a diabetic... I've heard it works well in dogs also... but it is something you may want to discuss with your vet. Print off the literature you found and take it in when you tal...

I agree lucy - unfortunately those men looked at their dogs like cattle or pigs... livestock. They don't see them as any more than that.

LOR, all they would have to do is make standards of care mandatory - good food, testing, housing that...

He shot them because they became virtually useless livestock. That's the outlook of every puppymill breeder. If they aren't making them money, they have no use and the work to find them homes or get them into rescues/shelters wouldn't have been worth...
