vet time! and you need to look at the stools to make sure, no blood or odd color- so follow the dog once or twice so you can give the vet a better description. good luck!

Sorry Jgermash, but it sounds like you will have to call AC. Our dogs is a loud boy too- howls and cries, but we NEVER leave him out at night and if he's outside in the day and starts up, I bring him in immediately. Before when we lived in a duplex, ...

thanks for all the responses! cooper was alright- he got diarrhea but he has a sensitive digestive system anyway, so i definitely expected that. thanks again!

pen is right. we get lots of garter snakes in the spring and they don't hurt a thing. If you don't want them inside, look around for any openings and possible ways they are coming in and seal those up. do you have cats? sometimes cats will bring them...

definitely call the vet. you don't want her to get dehydrated and they may need to push fluids for her. see what they say and let us know!

yes the diarrhea is probably because you left him and so are the other anxiety symptoms. try a bland diet for a few days to get the dog firmed up. how old is your dog? was this the first time you'd left for such a long period?
